Is "Freedy vs Jason" canon?

I think some of you who know me know my love of the "Friday the 13th" movies. Love them. I am fully aware they are terrible movies. Well, the first one maybe not, but the rest really don't have a lot of redeeming features as far as critics and film buffs are concerned. However, damned if I don't love them. Hell I saw "Jason X" and "Freddy vs Jason ( Read more... )

Serial killer stand-up could totally be a Robot Chicken sketch. That could go two ways. It could be serial killers (like Jason, Freddy, Hannibal...) doing jokes. Or it could be a stand-up who happens to kill people. Both seem really cool to me.
You know I love Freddy, I can't help myself. I'm not a big Jason fan.
I saw Jason X, And I think that maybe they didn't want to go with another in the series because he was already in space. Where do you go after that? The Hood? That's been done, too, though with little green men.
I also think the whole reimagining thing is SO IN right now. That's probably part of why they did it. It's been pretty successful with the other movies. Why bother having people try to have to follow a movie based off all those other ones? They don't need to, they can just reboot it! No thinking involved. Teens who never saw the old stuff will come and people who liked the old stuff will to see what's different.

It's too bad you can't go on the 13th, that would've been perfect. Maybe ask about the 15th? I would avoid Valentine's Day as a first time taking a girl out. That's a little weird for both of you.

I love that she knew hockey as Jason. That's what it made her think of. That's seriously the cutest thing ever. (And I always liked that Jason wore those old hockey masks. Just saying it was a clever way to hide his face without it being cheesy.)

Oh! And if you're going to see My Bloody Valentine, you MUST see it in 3D. There's no point if you don't see it in 3D.
And even though it kind of has to do with Valentine's, it also doesn't really. If you traded it for Christmas or any other holiday it would've made as much sense. There's no real plot (not one that makes any sense!) to speak of, so that's also part of why it could come out so early in the US and not matter.
