Good point about the mother/child connection! When I think of "love at first sight" I think of romantic love between 2 people. But you can bet I loved both of my children the moment I saw them (and even before that - while they were still in the womb) so that applies there.

I think I also agree with your views on "one true love." I do think un-conditional love exists and I know that I have that with my children.
