Every now and then you run across something that makes you feel SEEN in a capital letter way and for me, that show is Aggretsuko. It’s a cartoon based on a Sanrio character-lovable and mild mannered accountant Retsuko during the day and death metal belter by night. We're not exactly anime connoisseurs, so I don't know how BNA stacks up against other shows. This is a one part documentary that looks at the life of Rachel Dolezal in-depth. Dolezal was a news sensation in 2015 when it was revealed that she was born to genetically white parents but was presenting as an African American woman. When I watch true crime, I go for the more thoughtful and deep shows that pointed to systemic flaws or barriers to justice. The Confession Killer is a two for one deal as it explores how the Texas Rangers created a strange celebrity in alleged serial killer Henry Lee Lucas.
