While on my most recent trip to Las Vegas, I was kind of bothered by all the empty lots. Many of the old time hotels have been demolished with nothing to replace them. That's interesting. I haven't been to Vegas in about 5 or 6 years. It always amazes me when I go back after an extended absence, how much it seems to change.

Truly! My last trip was in 2011 and before that 2007. The weather was so rainy here that we had to get away somewhere sunny. My city, Calgary, is always on the grow too. You could leave for six months and find things have totally changed. I don't know why some cities are like that :-)
