As provided by the vet:

Mix 1 part flax seed oil with 4 parts corn oil (ie 1 st to 4 tsp). Keep refrigerated. Mix well before use. Give 1 drop (0.02cc) over food once daily or give by mouth.

Thank you so much for posting this!! That's really neat that you can make your own supplement. Also, it's great to see some of my old peeps still posting here!! :-) Seems almost everyone has abandoned LJ, which is sad. BTW, I changed my first name several years ago. It used to be Dawnielle. I'm now Natalia. Had never liked Dawnielle in the first place and finally got up the courage to change it! That name is different, but I'm still me! :-)

Hi! It's been forever! Thanks so much for making a comment. I posted in Parrot Lovers a while back about my cockatiel's constipation and this is what the vet gave me. He's doing all right.

LJ has gotten quieter, but it's a blessing compared to the busyness of other social media. I don't know if you still check up on Parrot Lovers, but I now have four budgies and still have Muffin. Everyone's secondhand. Feel free to friend me if you want the continued saga of Jojo the World's Most Expensive Budgie.

Thank you! I definitely will friend you! I'd be more drawn to write if I had more friends who read. Since it's mainly me talking to myself on my journal anymore, I've lost the edge a little and haven't written much lately.

I'm so glad you still have your birdies, including Muffin!! :-) I've always thought that was the cutest name for a birdie! :-) Yep, I'm still on Parrot Lovers.

Thank you so much! I've got a lot of changes going on right now. The name change was the beginning of them, really. :-) And now that I'll have someone else to read, I'd be more likely to post about them. :-)
