Okay, okay, I'm getting it

So I have spent some time on LJ and am feeling slightly more acquainted now. Kinda like your second day in a new house. You still don't know what's up in the attic or what that switch in the living room truly does control, but you do have a vague idea of the layout. I don't know how often or how in depth my updates will be. I'm not used to ( Read more... )

Um. It appears you've chosen the option in your journal settings that "screens" all comments before they are visible in your journal. Not sure if you intended that or if you're just playing with the settings to see what they do.

Kinda like the aforementioned switch in the living room.
Which reminds me of a Steven Wright joke....

Well, I've done it.
We'll see if anyone's online (it's been a slow week...and considering your introduction, that may work in your favor...hahaahaha). :p

You know me. If I'm gonna make an introduction its gonna be noteworthy. Besides, I find the anonymity of the internet to be quite like alcohol; Liberating and uninhibiting in that,"Did I seriously say that out loud?" kinda way. Also, if anyone is gonna put their foot in my mouth its gonna be me. Other parts of the body are debatable ladies (see what I mean about the "alcohol/talking out loud" thing?).

JEEzus. You talk to your mom with that mouth?
Shit, that's right. You do. ;)
(and yeah, I know: you were the one who had to yell "ExcYOOOOZ me, there's a CHILD in the room!" at all of us since you were, ohhhh, eight years old. I know.)

Anyway, I'm gonna ignore the anatomy comment and just move right on to giving you some auntly orders.

The two I now see on said Friend Of list both live, oddly enough, in New Zealand.
nulomiel is probably just about the best Elvish speaker you're gonna find in this vicinity, and I hope she's putting together a nice Sindarin curse phrase for you as we speak. :p
ansis is an archaeologist with a keen wit and a flair for dry humor (and subtle sarcasm) that rivals some of our mutual friends in the UK. A gift I covet. She can also verbally abuse with the best of 'em and has put to words some of the finest anti-Bush rants I've seen here.

And as soon as I can get Jeff to be on the computer doing something besides look at porn ( ... )
