A Funny

Mar 31, 2012 18:00

A friend of mine was cleaning out her email of old, unwanted messages and she came across this and sent it to me thinking I'd enjoy it.  She was right *snickers*.  So I shall pass it on to you poor, dear victim reader, and those of you who have either had horses or been around them enough, know exactly what this is talking about!

Ah, horses... )

ROTFLMAO!!! Sounds accurate to me! The only thing they missed was the 'swipe and duck' maneuver from aft. Goes well when alternated with 'squirt-circle' as a reflex-enhancing workout.

Thanks for sharing, hon!

'Swipe and duck'! Yes! How could they have missed that one! *laughs* Nothing says 'I love you' like a whip-like tail to the face! An added bonus: you can practice your dance moves dodging feet for yet additional cardio when a horsefly lands on their ass. I don't case what people say... horses are qui-ick!! XD

You're welcome!! Glad I could give you a chuckle. *hugs*

OH yes....I can personally attest to the truthfulness of this. I OWN horses like this. I can guarantee that the first few spring rides will leave me walking funny for a full week!@!

Oh don't I know it!! The young ones are especially good at giving you a run for your money! Though I have been wildly fortunate enough to not have owned a horse quite so "Right", I've interacted with and ridden enough of them to appreciate my guys! *laughs* I particularly love the "three day hobble" one acquires after the first trail ride following the long, cold winter. Without fail, I am continuously amazed that those muscles could hurt that badly! 8P

OH yes!! And in places you would NEVER expect. I particularly love the fact that my gals have a 30 acre pasture....but the ONLY place it seems that they want to poop is in the barn...so that I have to clean it up. Dr. Phil needs to go work on a horse farm for just ONE day....that would fix his little wagon!!

ROTF! It would break him!! And then the poor man would have to make a public apology to all the equestrians out there!

Your gals sound like my boys! Riddle me this though: I've got my youngest recovering from founder in a paddock with a bale ring, so I can understand poop piles in inconvenient places, but why does he back up to the side of the hay bale to poop? Whyyyyyyyyy? Pooping in the water bucket I get, sure, but the food? Horses are finicky! This should go against his DNA!! 8|
