Other than the fact that Branson, MO was three blocks of shops on a two-lane highway in the 60s, this was incredibly funny.

I think Ian was probably referring to a visit he'd made while travelling in the TARDIS, which could have been any time in the future, since I can't imagine an English science teacher having any reason to go there in his regular life! (He probably couldn't afford to travel anywhere on a teacher's salary! LOL.) :D
