So ya. My anxiety level just spiked this morning. I hate traveling by plane. I have no problems with planes. I love flying. It is boring at times and definitely has lost its novelty but I still enjoy it. HOWEVER, I Hate, with a super capital "H" full of hell and horseshit, airports. PDX being worse than DIA scares me... as DIA is so much worse than most other major airports...
We were talking about this on Saturday when flying out of Orlando (MCO) which is an international airport in a city that is #3 on the "Homeland Security Top 10 Hit List" (DC, NYC, then Orlando - Disney is apparently considered a hot target) and isn't nearly as absurdly anal and ineffective as DIA.

Just Zen it... Give yourself extra time, and remember to go to the North End of the terminal for shorter lines - or if you can swing it, go thru Terminal A security.
