( And because it's his birthday, Cas got Sam a present. )

THIS IS JUST THE LEAD-UP. Cas was going to get him chocolate and flowers, but the world is covered in snow and chocolate hasn't been invented yet. Mammoths make good bribes!

:DDDDDDDDDDDDD TRECHCOATSTIEL IS NOT SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF SAM'S RIDICULOUSLY BROAD SHOULDERS BUT IT IS PRETTY SURE IT LIKES THEM.

I wanted to make Cas dragging the mammoth in by its trunk, but to fit the whole mammoth in their faces would've been too small. So I shrunk it and shoved it out of the frame and now FIRELIGHT ON THEIR CHEEKBONES. JUST AS PLANNED.

SAM IS NOT SURE HOW HE SHOULD RESPOND TO THIS GIFT. HE SORT OF SUSPECTS CAS PLANS ON OPENING THE ROTTING CARCASS AND BUNDLING SAM INSIDE. PERHAPS MAKEOUTS WILL DISTRACT HIM.

Oh my god, YES. And Sam names it Thurgood, and Cas doesn't see why they can't just take it with them when they go back, but Dean refuses to let it anywhere near the Impala, which makes Sam bitchface, and then Cas says he and Sam will ride Thurgood while Dean drives beside them, and then Thurgood sticks his trunk in Dean's ear.
