Dude this is super excellent erasure! I was surprised and impressed and thrilled by how far in the opposite direction you managed to run with that silly schmoopy original text. I love how you made their familiar banter terrifying in this. :D And ALL THE OTHER THINGS TERRIFYING TOO.
As a poem, this is deliciously creepy like all good things Lucifer and Sam&Lucifer. I really like the first bit (by instinct, by accident / Sam / fell) because MFY yes he did, that is exactly what happened. And the creepy repetition of "go to sleep"! :D Creepy dreams in hell and a skin that isn't yours. And BURNING. Poor Sam! :DD

Originally it was wincest! But then I noticed that I only mentioned Sam by name, and then I was like hmm how do I take something cute and make it HORRIFYING. Because I exist to crush dreams.
I made great use of all your references to Sam being human but not quite! Partly because Samifer, but also partly I think because Sam still hasn't reconciled his inherent humanity with the demon blood he knows is still in him and will always be part of him. It tied in very nicely with the mentions of hearts and pulses. Then the burning of course because dragons but also SAAAAAM JUST LET ME HUG YOU.
In short, YOU ARE AWESOME AND DON'T LET THIS LUCIFER BUSINESS DETRACT FROM OUR VERY IMPORTANT DRAGONVERSE FLUFF SESSIONS. ♥
CRUSHED DREAMS ARE THE MOST DELICIOUS DREAMS ANYWAY. It makes them more poignant! Seriously, I would have enjoyed a cute Wincest poem too, but this is cool and creepy and I'm quite glad you followed your vision. :D

I LOOOOOOVE SAM'S ANGST ABOUT BEING HUMANNNNNN especially when he has always had more grey areas toward monsters, it's like he was preemptively making excuses for himself through them except when it came right down to it he still thought he was a monster, still went down the road they carved for him and doesn't understand how amazing he is for coming out the other side. I JUST. SAM WINCHESTER YOU ARE MY HERO OKAY.
