i.  In my opinion, best thing about Halloween?  The day after when everyone brings their leftover candy into the office.  Free candy!  This is the grown-up's trick-or-treat.

ii. Changed clocks over the week-end, and so now it's completely dark by 5 pm.  I do not approve.

iii. Is the election tomorrow bringing out all the crackpots in Washington DC?

I have attained absolutely no knowledge of Portugese from those DVDs. And I watch them a lot.

Dude, I ate all of my Halloween candy so fast...man I love that stuff (yes, I did go trick or treating, and I was judged by 12 year olds for doing so)

Apparently, I watch them more. This realization came to me because a girl asked if she could translate AKO into Portuguese, and I was looking at the translation and I was like..."I know these words from somewhere...wait, I can picture the Doctor saying these things!" When I first started watvhing them I had to cover up the subtitles so they didn't distract, but now I've practically memorized them on the episodes I watch a lot.

I didn't get any Halloween candy...kids don't come into apartment buildings so I couldn't get any "to give out"....which would have been a total lie anyway because I would have eaten it all.

Um, no. It has in fact not been translated into anything at all except now, Portuguese. One of my one-shots was translated into Russian once, which was pretty weird, but that person didn't ask, I just stumbled across it in a vanity google.

Yes, well, the reason for that would be that I would never finish it on time, and then I would feel horrible and guilty and stressy and (quite deservedly) be shunned.

I was totally late last year, due to my fic changing basically a million times. *headdesk* And they made me an admin, so obviously your fears about being shunned are nonsense.

while it does suck that it gets dark earlier in the day (one of the many reasons why winter is such a damn pain in the ass), I do appreciate having it be light outside while I go to my bus stop instead of it being all dark. Which, of course, doesn't last all that long because eventually it's dark in the mornings too and then the world just becomes so DARK IN THE WINTERTIME.
