The other day, my boss left her cell phone at a meeting at a certain agency of the United States Government.  This morning, I went to retrieve said phone and had to jump through countless hoops to prove that I did, in fact, have authority to take control of the phone.  They made me identify the phone number, and then call the phone from my phone,

Oh, I'm sure I will but I don't know which yet. I went to one for both Bush inaugurations so it will be rather nice to go to one where I'm not muttering nasty things under my breath.

Depends....he makes the rounds, but he doesn't go to all of them...I didn't go the GW one so I'm not sure if he was there...

I love that you said that, because while waiting to be escorted around said government agency (which was the DOE) all I could think was "add red berets and this would be just like UNIT."

When it comes to incompetent governemnt groups who have control over dangerous stuff I think I will always mind!reference DW and it's associated spin-offs...

I think you should send them a bunch a red berets in the mail.
