Lorne & Jack in the cabin

These things always take longer than one thinks they will.

However, the cabin is finally finished: floors laid, most of the furniture built, stairs to the loft in, plumbing finished.

It feels...good to be done.

It feels even better to be sharing it with Jack.

Jack stands in the doorway, smiling as he looks around.

"Look at this place," he says softly. "Look at our place."

"Pretty damn amazing," Lorne murmurs, smiling widely and reaching for Jack's hand.

Jack takes his hand and pulls Lorne to him, and gives him a hard kiss. "Hi."

"Mmm...hi," Lorne says, sliding his arms around Jack's waist. "Welcome home, baby."
