I was glad to see a few bees on my Nepeta this afternoon. I'm not seeing anything like the normal number of bees so far this year.

I've seen plenty of bees and some day-flying moths but no butterflies.

I rescued a bee yesterday - it was bumbling along the pavement in confusion, and seemed pleased to be put on a flower instead.
