I have also bought the FM Scarletts but am going to ration them as finding it a bit much reading them back to back. Pretty glad I didn’t pay £55 for Peter and Paul though. Not sure whether to bother with the Elizabeth Fair as I have found her others a bit meh.

Yes, I think too much Susan Scarlett in one go would bring on indigestion. I liked the fashion setting of Clothes-Pegs. 'Meh' is how I feel about Elizabeth Fair, too. Shame, as they're the kind of books I'd expect to like.

Also in theory I expect to like pretty much all the FM reprints because mid 20th c Middlebrow is very much my bag but obviously there are hits and misses. I preferred it when they printed a bit more of a mixed bag each time.
