If there are any old green tennis balls in heaven, my friend's Jack Russell Millie will steal them all. My friend used to keep a crate by the front door for all the tennis balls she 'acquired' and brought back from their walks.

I had not heard this news. As you say, poor Monty. Nigel was only there last week maybe he caught a chill in the rain :-( It won't be the same without him.

Some people have commented that he 'looked tired' during that programme. He was an old dog! And such a faithful one.
