Didn't know about that last Hazel Holt, I've read all the rest so have now ordered that from the library.
It is odd that Agatha Christie hasn't been out of print when so many other good crime authors just vanished. I'm reading some of George Bellairs which have been reprinted but not all by BLCC. They are well told stories I think. Also started on Ngaio Marsh which for some reason I hadn't read before like them too.

I haven't tried George Bellairs but have liked Ngaio Marsh for years. Margery Allingham is still my favourite.

Of the republished authors, I like Anthony Berkeley, whom I already knew as Francis Iles. Malice Aforethought is very good.

My favourite from Player One's glossary was 'fictive snack', the need to read at least a paragraph or so before settling down to sleep.

I'm tearing through Real Tigers at the moment.

Another one that applies to me!

I'm saving up Real Tigers.

Nice crime selection this month. I think the cover alone on 'Murder Underground' would tempt me :)

I think everyone agrees that the covers sell those books!
