I remember all the pink Mazo dela R books from working in libraries in the early 70s they used to fill a whole shelf but I've never read any.
I've had a couple of the BLCC that have been duds makes me think THATS why they were never reprinted before!

I read a lot of Mazo de la Roche in my teens and have read very few since. Must be one of the longest family series ever.

I agree that there are BLCC duds. It wos the covers wot sold them!

i am borrowing THE SHELLSEEKERS this week from the library--was meaning to read it after i read the new one by CARO FRASER which reminded me of it.

I only know two of those books, No 10 and The Shell Seekers, but I always enjoy your monthly reviews and have often found a good read from them :)

Gosh, The Shell Seekers! I read that while backpacking around New Zealand in 1990. Just the title takes me back to nights sitting around the fire in youth hostels. :)
