I must admit I don't get on well with short stories. I always feel like I've just got into them and then they are finished!

I do love short stories so will get this one - thanks so much Barbara for the review! I really liked The Tapestry of Love (which I've just re-read) and Crossed Wires - both of which I think I heard of because of your recommendations and recently the Laetitia Rodd Mystery - thanks v much indeed for that one as well - loved it, pushing it on everyone I know! It reminds me most of the Hazel Holt Mrs Malory series in that you get the literary nods to Victorian fiction and a pleasant mystery to boot! Nice to have a new light mystery series to look forward to - just hope she does more. Currently re-reading Trampled Lilies by Fortescue which can recommend if you haven't read it yourself.

Thanks so much for the kind words. It's comments like that which keep me going.

So glad you liked Laetitia Rodd as much as I did and I'll look out for Trampled Lilies. I do enjoy those 'literary nods'.
