I much prefer The Provincial Daughter, written by her daughter - whose name escapes me, and I write this from under a pile of ripped up carpet because I am procrastinating, so I'll stab at Rosamund Dashwood? She is far nicer. I intend to feast on soothing mid century domestic literature just as soon as I do the million other things which are looming over me.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society remains one of the few books I have read twice. One of my favourites :)
