TV Watch: Ian Hislop’s Olden Days

Yesterday evening I watched the third programme in the series Ian Hislop’s Olden Days.. His theme was that the more industrialised Britain became, the more people looked back nostalgically to a largely imagined and romanticised rural past. Sounds fascinating! I will have to hope someone pirates it onto YouTube, since I can't access iPlayer.

It was good. I didn't realise Ireland was excluded from iPlayer use.

As I understand it, if you don't pay a UK TV licence, you don't get access to BBC programmes online.

I thought about watching that and didn't and rather wish I had now. I should be able to catch it on iplayer, as you mentioned.
