Garden notes: Spring?

Are we nearly there yet? In my book, if you’d rather be outdoors than in, it’s spring. After another frosty start it turned sunny here and was almost warm if you stayed in the sun and kept out of the stiff breeze. It's been quite a pleasant day here in the sunshine but not quite warm enough to stay outside for long. My bulbs would be coming up if it wasn't for Nutzilla digging for his blessed nuts! My friends bought me some lovely potted miniature daffs, very cheery. x

Oh, those squirrels! I rarely see one here but in my old garden there were lots and between them and the mice on the bank, my crocuses didn't last long there, either.

I love the miniature daffs., so dainty.

Thank you! I love to go round at this time of year to see what's coming up and what looks dead. I don't give up on the non-appearing/sad looking ones until later.
