Your take on the various Bond's is spot on, in my opinion. I read the first two paragraphs and basically went, "Yes, that's it exactly." Connery's Bond is really one of the hardest to connect to, for me at least, because he's such a concept. I suppose I've always thought of him as extremely aloof, the Bond so good at burying his feelings that he doesn't even seem human at times.

Then again, it's been quite some time since I've seen one of his films. What's the channel doing the marathon again?

And I worry about how other people see my pups, too! It's like you have this obligation to fill, only you have a hugely famous character in James Bond, but honestly? There have been so many Bonds that I think each characterization could fit one of them. That, and as long as you back it up with characterization as to why he would do something, ace. It has happened a few times, though not recently, that I felt what you were doing with the Craig Bond didn't fit the concept of Bond, but did fit your characterization of Bond, which really deserves ( ... )

ALSO: It's usually Spike that shows Bond movies, and usually there's a marathon of sorts around Christmas. Obviously it's ended, but if you check, every now and then they will show a Bond movie.
