Nanowrimo - What I Learnt this Year

Doing Nano is always a time of discovery for me. This year, I started from a very different place of two years ago. I was much more confident, I had a goal, I had a rough plan, and I tried a few things I hadn't done before.

Things I learnt...

1) You are allowed to segue away from sex scenes in erotic novels. I was very relieved.

1. I did. In fact, I got half-way through a plot-relevant sex scene and went, "Meh. I'll come back to this later."

2. Yes, you can. School is a wonderful thing.

3. If one truly wishes to write, one will find a way.

4. Every writer needs this. Just not necessarily from your husband. ;)

5. You know it is doable.

6. Interesting when one discovers that one is in love with something after all.

7. So it's not necessarily garrets or nothing.

Glad you did well during NaNoWriMo. Congratulations.

I certainly hope so/plan to! But if for some reason I don't, I guess it will be nadr8wrimo for me!
