I remember feeling dragged to what felt like a lesser level because of family distractions and the pressure of feeling like you have to say "yes" even if you need to tell them, "no". AW

I really like the way you went back and forth, rhythmically, between prose and dialogue in this. It had a really nice tone and pace, beyond just telling your story.
