Three words, five syllables. They didn't seem like they would make much of an impact on anything. They were just three tiny words that I say several times on a normal day. Aw, no, I'm adjusted fine. It just bothers me sometimes how they want me to change. :) But they can't really change me until I *let* them change me.

I, too, prefer peace and quiet. I don't think there's anything abnormal about that.

As to people wanting to change who you are, I'm glad you realize that they can't do that. You are who you are, and people just need to deal with that.

Very nicely written entry.

I agree completely with your last sentence. I wish more people would realize that we are who we are and nobody can take that away unless we let them.

I am glad you are standing firm and not changing to make your sister and brother in law happy.

I'd be really upset if it were noisy all the time where I lived too : (. At least they're starting to understand they can't really change the way you are.
