AAAAAH. This is adorable. I love Ariadne's anxiety and the perfect slow burn of tension between her and Arthur - and I may have yelled a little at the screen when I realized where you were ending it, but it works perfectly as a series of missing scenes within the film. Excellent fic, thank you for sharing!
Heh, I *really* wanted to take the interaction between Arthur and Ariadne a bit further, but it just didn't feel right. So I gave up and succumbed to the fic.
Thank you so much for your review!! :D
And I love your icon! And in some ways...it is so true... ;p
I loved this! And as an anthropology-student, I loved your mention at the beginning of coffee influencing history. (There are so many amusing stories about the rise and fall of, say, alcohol consumption over time and its possible effects... Bwahaha.)
As far as the actual fic, it was beautifully written and I loved your characterization of both Ariadne and Arthur. I can totally see her diving (even accidentally) straight into drinking a ton of coffee at once. :)
It is very interesting on how coffee and alcohol (and others) could have influenced history! I'm a political science major, so all I work with are theories and current events. I wish I had taken more history and anthro courses.
For Ariadne, I feel like she's one of those shoot first, think later gals. Honestly, who would follow a strange man into a warehouse so he could inject her with sleep-inducing chemicals? Coffee is the least of her worries. :p
Thank you for your lovely review <3 I really appreciate it.
I liked that. :D Really cute ff and the lines “If I were to kiss you, Ariadne, you would know it for what it is. And you wouldn’t even see it coming.” were priceless and so true. :D *grin grin* :)
Hehe, that line was actually the premise for this fic, and then things kept piling up on top of it. Funny how things evolve. :p Thank you for your comment!!
