Hot damn! I like the way this played out, rough and oddly tender. From what we've seen so far, it makes more sense that Cameron is programed for mom and not John as she is very much the 'pack alpha' at this point in his life. This just builds on that.

Yeah, I was thinking this morning that it's interesting that Cameron doesn't have to follow Sarah's orders, but she seems to look to Sarah for guidance. John hasn't risen to be a leader yet so it makes sense that Sarah takes up that mantle. I never thought of it as being a "pack alpha" but that's a great description.

Yeah, well that's me, obsessed with pack mentality. As John is still only in his mid-teens and relied on Sarah to protect him his entire life, it makes perfect sense that she is the center of his universe. Obviously, he bucks against that sometimes, but he has good reasons to obey! Ironically, Sarah creates the savior of mankind, how in turn creates this so very human-like cyborg to complete the cycle.

why yes, I really did enjoy the underlining dynamics of this idea! It was hot too, so life is good...

There was a nice rawness to Sarah's thoughts and actions that I really liked.

On an archiving note, is this the last of the story or do you plan on continuing this particular one? (I'm not sure if I need to mark it as complete or not)
