Just on the offchance that there are people on my (teeny tiny) f-list who a) haven't seen this, b) have any interest in writing fanfic, and c) are at all familiar with the extended Whoniverse (...okay, so, pearbean, I'm primarily looking at you) - toobroadtoodeep is putting together an extended Whoniverse prompts-based ficathon, and it looks like awesome fun. :D Yep, pretty much. And honestly? I wouldn't mind that much if nobody wanted it but me. I'll probably ending up writing it myself sometime, even if no one picks up the prompt. Because Eighth / Brig!TARDIS is *the most adorable thing ever written*. With the love and the hurt and the jealousy and the highly practical torture.

The mention of TV Comic makes me wonder whether anyone wants to do a Time War fic which explains why the fourth Doctor repeated one of the second Doctor adventures and several of the third Doctor adventures before he migrated from Polystyle to Marvel. Furthermore, there were no women that I can think of in the 1978/79 reprint run...

...you, know those are *awesome* prompts. I think there is definitely need for Time War-related TV Comic fic. As explanatory plot-devices go, the Time War is right up there with Superboy punching the walls of reality. (Oh, DC Comics. Bless your wee continuity-happy hearts.)

I'm going to do my damnedest to snaffle the post-Sympathy for the Devil Warner!Doctor + Brigadier fic, because, wow. Crotchety middle-aged-men shenanigans FTW.

AWESOME. Of all the prompts I left, that is the one I most dearly, dearly want to see written - the one I've wanted to seen written since I heard that audio two years ago...

Heeeeee, yay :D I was literally bouncing up and down in my chair with joy when I first listened to the end of Sympathy for the Devil, because the idea of the Brig travelling with the Doctor has been one of my fondest dreams for far too many years. I too was struck by how very much there needs to be fic with the Warner!Doctor and alterni!Brigadier being crotchety and adorable around the universe, righting wrongs and complaining about the difficulty of getting real ale on even the most civilised of planets. I really hope I win that prompt :D

(Also: Gatiss!Master. God, I love him. With his velvety voice and his pissy little 'notice me! NOTICE ME!' rants at the Doctor. I was *so* excited when it was first announced that Mark Gatiss had been cast for season 3, and it was rumoured that the Master would be coming back. And then they went and threw him away on a monster of the week. Hmph.)

Wasn't there a press-release a while back from Big Finish that they were going to do a Sympathy for the Devil sequel?
