Eighteen years!!! It has seriously been 18 years since we brought Mary into this world. She is now a beautiful, intelligent, passionate, stubborn, wonderful young lady. And yet--I still see my big girl baby love (she insisted we call her that) with a doobie (her word for a pacifier) in her mouth

I will, thank you. Our family has been largely non-cognizant of the date. Only my sister has called to acknowledge her birthday.
