I got the d40 back in February...still havent quite got the hang of it..im a lil slow with the manual stuff...tips?

hmm.. I don't know what kind of tips I could give you besides -- bring it everywhere and take pictures of everything? After awhile you'll know what settings to use in what light instantly. I always take a bunch of pictures of the same thing with different settings and pick the best one, its never a "one perfect shot" for me
