Also, a bit of a friendly and sheepish warning. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Some of the stuff I've seen in the last couple years has made me really wonder about my sanity, and I asked to see more physical evidence of this stuff. I have no regrets whatsoever, but at the same time, I look back on the irony of those wishes with some amusement. If you want, someday we can sit down and I'll tell you all about it.

That was a good night.
But in the transient moment of sainthood, I understood something that I've been able to carry back with me into my daily life: Things are not mundane because they are "rational." They are mundane because we've allowed all the wonder to be leeched out of understanding. As a result, we persist in the belief that rational things cannot also be wonderful.
