Phoenyx: Keepers of the Flame (album name) has some great celtic rock songs about these subjects. The album is very, very hard to find but well worth it. Also try stuff by Tempest or the filk written around Mercedes Lackey's Velgarth books. It's available from http://www.firebirdarts.com/ along with lots of other nice music.

Also, a bit of a friendly and sheepish warning. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Some of the stuff I've seen in the last couple years has made me really wonder about my sanity, and I asked to see more physical evidence of this stuff. I have no regrets whatsoever, but at the same time, I look back on the irony of those wishes with some amusement. If you want, someday we can sit down and I'll tell you all about it.

I have found the world to be a wonderful, enchanting, dreadful and terrible place, often in the course of a single day. In the course of a single night, I've been a beggar, a pilgrim, a saint, the Asian answer to Shaft, and King of the Faeries. And I believed in all of it whole heartedly.

I'd heard WW wasn't doing another, as they had so little interest in the last one they stopped that in mid-production, too. I'll have to check it out. ^_^
