I keep telling myself I'll be thankful for thorough planning later, but right now it's just a bitch

I have finally decided on how my big bang is actually going to end AND I've planned out every scene to the last minute-

NOW I JUST HAVE TO WRITE IT.

*dies*

ETA: I may be on the lookout for an america-picker. I may have lived in that country for two years, but I also just spent ten minutes wondering what their word for shopping trolley was.

Writing is hard but I am sure you can get there. Good luck!

You can do it!! :D You actually know how it is going to end -- well done, you! :D

I would volunteer as an America-picker, but I'm not really qualified. :( Canada =/= the states, and I tend to use British jargon and not fully realize it because of being brought up by expats.

I always plan out my fics to the nines, or I don't have any sort of direction while I'm writing and it all just fizzles out. Without the ending, I don't know what kind of a love story it is, so I can't write their relationship.

Usually I can get by on the American-English front. I lived in Texas for two years, so I can deal with most stuff. It's more that I've grown used to writing with distinct dialect, and I can't do that anymore. Like, apparently, nobody has used the word 'whilst' outside Britain for maybe a hundred years, when I regularly use it in conversation.

No one uses whilst? Really?

... did not know. Maybe I should stop using it in daily conversation, then. D:

Apparently so! At least, that's what wikipedia tells me. I remember getting called on it, years and years ago, by a reviewer and I had no idea what they meant by it.

But there are some American English words I just can't bear using because they're ugly. Like 'store'. I just want to use 'supermarket' *sob*
