You nailed the issues of age-gap relationships perfectly! It was almost like a deja-vu for me. I had nearly the exact conversation with my S.O. The age difference never seems to bother the younger person in the relationship. To this day, my wife seems to still have issues with "cradle-robbing" me, but it gets less, the older you become, together. I absolutely loved Andy's joke about bending Miranda over her walker. I hope you don't mind if I will quote that to the Missus. ;-D

I love your choice of words and the way you make the progression of conversation and inner musings so natural. It reads like a steady river, not a single bump along the way. You simply can't stop. :)

Miranda comparing Andy to her cherished photograph is wonderful! And I loved the insinuation that the world in general misunderstands who Miranda truly is.

Actually, you're right, the age thing never seems to bother the younger person. My girlfriend is younger than I am as well. She's 20 and I'm 25 and while it's not a HUGE difference, I think about it more than I should lol so I kind of drew from that.
