“I don’t know.” Cristina said dryly to Callie, who stared back with a similar look on her face. And Cristina started to think this whole ‘tricking Callie into being her bridesmaid was maybe a good idea.

“You don’t know.” Callie echoed, placing one hand on her hip--not that Cristina was looking or anything. She just happened to notice. “You don’t know why you pulled me in to this conference room for no apparent reason?”

Cristina shrugged. Okay. So, she DID know why she pulled her in here. She just didn’t know why all of a sudden she felt shy about it.

“I’m not going to hurt her, if that’s what you’re worried about--”

Cristina looked perplexed. What was she talking about? Hurt who?

“--yes, I don’t like her, but I’m not fifteen. I can control myself.”

Izzie. Of course. OF COURSE she was talking about Izzie. She had heard the tone Izzie used when she asked if Callie was going to be a bridesmaid--like she could vomit fro the ridiculousness of it. But that wasn’t why she had dragged her in here.

“Just, in my defense though, she IS a pain in the ass--”

And there she was, still thinking this was about Isobel fucking Stevens. Being married to George must do that to people--make them think everything is about Isobel Stevens. “It’s not about Izzie.” Cristina snapped nervously. Callie made her nervous--she made her forget how to speak and she made her stare at her in a really strange, wide eyed way, and she made her talk really fast.

“Okay…” There was that eyebrow. Callie was queen of the eyebrow raise. And this made Cristina very glad that she had the brilliant idea of pulling Callie Torres-O’Malley into this empty conference room. She tapped her foot and leaned forward slightly, emphasizing that she needed more information, “You going to speak anytime soon, Yang? Or am I going to have to beat it out of--”

“I want to kiss you.” She blurted it out before she could help it and she held her breath once the words were out.

“--you.” Callie finished and Cristina thought she was slowly shrinking under her state. “I’m sorry what?” Raven-haired woman asked, licking her lips.

“Yeah…” Cristina answered, her voice so low, she almost shocked herself at the sound of it. She didn’t know what to do. She thought once she’d said it, she’d know, but Callie wasn’t doing anything. She was just standing there. Looking at her. The smarter thing would have been to just laugh it off as a joke and run away, but Cristina didn’t run--not from women she wanted to kiss anyway. From babies--yes. She looked down at her shoes and stammered a bit before looking up again, “Here’s the thing, we’re friends. And you’re my bride’s maid so--” She sighed and rolled her eyes. “I like you. Not like, I want to marry you--or whatever. But I like you. You’re hot. And--you know that so I don’t need to tell you, and I really want to kiss you. I’ve been sort of--fixated on your lips--sort of, so, I think I want to kiss you. Because we’re friends now so--” She extended her arms, signaling that she had finished.

Callie stood there, staring back at her and Cristina kept her eyes glued to hers, still trying to read her.

“So-- this fixation of yours…is it going to lead anywhere anytime soon or should I just go about my day and wait until you have some sort of plan or something?” Callie stated blankly and Cristina smirked. She DID have the right idea. She knew she was right to trick her into being her bridesmaid.

Cristina found herself suddenly very giddy as she took a couple of quick steps forward and stood toe to toe with Callie. She reached up and slipped her fingers through Callie’s hair, reaching behind her to cup the back of her neck and stood on the tips of her toes as Callie lowered her head to meet her half way.

Their lips touched and Cristina let out a sigh of relief as her expectations were more than met. She let her lips linger against Callie’s gently before she kissed her gain. She pushed her back until she hit the large table behind them as she wrapped a possessive arm around her waist and slid her tongue over her bottom lip, demanding entrance. She sighed again into her mouth as she felt her comply and lave her tongue against hers. She shivered and pressed her body tightly against her as she dropped her hand from her neck down to Callie’s waist. She fidgeted with the hem of her shirt. She didn’t know if she was allowed to touch or what, so she tried to keep her eager hands in more appropriate places.

Cristina’s attempted lady like behavior were proven wasted when Callie sighed into her mouth in a way that told her she was just a little bit frustrated, so she reached up and, hesitant at first, touched the fabric of her scrub top, feeling her way from her waist, around to the small of her back, testing the waters. She lowered her palm over her ass, urging her to sit on the table, and when she does, Cristina moves between her legs and instantly brings an eager hand to cup her full breast as their kiss intensifies.

The hairs on the back of Cristina’s neck stand up when her tongue brushes against Callie’s and her back arches into her as Callie slips her fingers under her short and just barely touches the small of her back.

They slowly pull away, and Cristina has a hard time breathing. Her legs wobble a little bit as she takes a step back and her pulse begins to return to normal. She cleared her throat and finally found her voice to say, “Okay. I’ll see you at the bridal shop.” And as Cristina opens the door to exit the conference room--she’s a little pissed because, Callie is sitting on the table and her face isn’t flushed--she doesn’t seem even a bit flustered as she nods and smiles, and Cristina knows that she will probably kiss her again later.
