i know it gives them time to heal.but i would love to see calzona get back together in season 12.would be good if they were maybe the mid season cliffhanger.then have them get married legally in the finale. then if it continues after 12 we can maybe see them trying for a new baby the next again season and have it play out over the full season.or will we endure a full season next season of them dating others.with no hints giving us anything hinting towards a reconciliation,this season.am i being crazy for thinking that next season we will nothing calzona wise. and they will both end up serious with other people and will last the full season. at least jcap is back though right

I'm with you..!! I hope we see a reconciliation next season, or at least something leading up to it..!! I believe they will reunite next season..!! Last season all the Patrick Dempsey Drama screwed everything up..!! I can't help but wonder if the fact that gay marriage is now legal in all 50states, would it have any affect on the outcome of their relationship..!! Maybe Shonda will wanna be the first show to have a legal wedding after the fact..!! Only time will tell..!!! We still have a long wait..!! Still believing Calzona Strong..!!!

Thanks for agreeing.I would love shonda to be the first to have the first same sex legal wedding.would make a statement.I don't know why it has to happen in season 12, but to me it has too.makes sense that way.I really don't wanna wait til the last season for a reconcilliaton and wedding.I wanna see the dating leading up to a wedding.then I would like to see a season of them happy and trying for a baby.

Do u think a reconciliation will happen in season 12

Yes I truly believe we will see a reunion next season..!! I'm really hoping we see that journey Shonda's been talking about..!! Keep Believing..!!

What a nice piece of surprise news to hear! I thought she had one more year left on her contract so nice to here this and that its for 3 years! Wonder how long contracts talks went on since the seasons been over 2 months already. Also if any of the contract talks had any affect on the calzona season finale.

Also wonder why didn't wasn't brought up by tvline/ natalie abrhams back in may that her contract was over, i feel like this was a surprise, usually its known when contracts expire of series regulars on greys such as all the others.

That's actually an interesting thought, heartsoccer. If you're right, maybe she renegotiated the final year & added 2 more.

Regardless, I'm happy she's signed. And the fact that Sara tweeted the news in a way that suggests she's happy about it gives me hope for Calzona, and esp that Sara will stay for 2 more years after this one.
