Can someone ask the costume designer how she selects outfits for each program? Not specifically these outfits, but in general. I think I read she is on twitter. Would be interesting to understand her process for selection.
Can anyone piece together the order of therapy scenes? The 30 day break obviously takes place towards the beginning or middle of the ep. Does this occur before or after Arizona's sneak peek speech?
In this photo and when the break is suggested she's closed off and angry. But when she's voicing her issues she's more calm and open. Feels like it takes place after the break has started.
I'm thinking this could be the first session, followed by the one we see in the sneak peek where Africa is discussed, followed by the session where the therapist recommends the 30 day break. We'll then see snippets of how that 30 days go (Callie and Mer go out and Arizona will probably be shown working her fellowship), then, hopefully, by the end of the episode (at the end of the 30 days) they'll come to an agreement about whether they stay together or not. I don't see the therapy sessions being shown passed this episode. If they choose to stay together, then hopefully future episodes will show them in the healing stages and hopefully will see the Calzona of s5 and early s6, only better....Boy, that's a lot of hoping happening with me. Lol!
These look really interesting - although unnerving. So excited for this episode!!
Also, seriously, someone needs to be paying attention to how JCap is sitting. Her body language here is great for showing that she is trying to get as far away from Callie as possible, but she has the leg that is supposed to be a prosthetic crossed over the other one...
Considering how short Arizona's residual limb is (and therefore how high up her prosthetic goes), though, I can't imagine that crossing her legs would be terribly comfortable! ;)
It's very uncomfortable. The more common way is to cross shin over knee, though not lady like. Most will, cross good leg over prosthetic - as it's a tad less uncomfortable, but still not something you do for a prolonged period of time.
I'm told she's wearing form fitting pants with no evidence of prosthetic - material wrinkles / indentations at knee and below knee. Nor do you see the ankle socket attached to the foot even though the pants are higher up the legs.
Seems not only Jessica but the director, continuity, props folks etc. really meant it when they said we're putting the leg behind!
Least have the woman wear socks if you aren't gong to xfs it out.
Ah well, at least they're both arguing with palms up and open body language. That's something right?
Despite the general ugliness of the shirt, I always notice that they put characters in certain colors that reflect their mood, and I was thinking about it in terms of color psychology. Yes, I am a MASSIVE nerd, so you don't have to read further if you want.
There are positive and negative attributes to every color. The negative attributes to pink and purple include: lack of self worth, impractical, conflict avoidance, physical weakness, and emotional neediness.
She looked like she was in a reddish purple in one of the promo scenes if I remember correctly. She was wearing at least 6 different outfits between pics, both promos and the sneak.

I won't give them credit for knowing that though. Lol. I'm sure they don't.
