I'm definitely the only one I've seen around here,tumblr,twitter, etc that has not heard of this person in any shape or form prior to her being on greys. Excited if she brings an interesting storyline to my lovelies though!

I kind of loved Cutthroat Island although it was panned at the time -- she plays a freakin' pirate though, and who doesn't secretly want to be the pirate?

And don't forget A Long Kiss Goodnight! She was such a badass in that movie. One of me faves next to A League of Their Own and Beetlejuice. I used to have a MAJOR MAJOR crush on her.

I just found out today that she's a member of mensa as well (people with very high IQ's) (which is one thing I didn't know about her). Beetlejuice will forever remain my absolute fave when it comes to her work. One other movie people haven't mentioned that was also pretty popular is The Fly co-starring Jeff Goldblum (who she was married to for about 3 years).
