This is the episode with the flirty med student right? I think (hope hope hope hope HOPE) that Callie's big news is cartilage related. She gets recognition for her work and the med student/intern hears about it and flirts. There was speculation that it was Alex and his trachea, but this 'big news' makes me think Callie. Plus drama because Arizona is trying to reconcile while Callie is flirting.

That would be totally awesome if true. It could also be interesting if they decide to keep Doctor Stark and Arizona's career isn't doing so well.

Okay, I'm starting to calm down a bit. The description...'who has big news to share...' sounds positive. If Arizona is chasing after her and Mark has reconciled with Lexie, I can't imagine Callie being that thrilled about being pregnant with Mark's child or thinking that he would be happy about it either. Yes, they both want kids, but like this?

So, I really hope it's about her cartilage research, such as the beginning of a clinical trial, which would actually make some sense since we haven't heard about it at all this season, yet it was such a big part of the end of last season.

Also, it would help explain Callie's reluctance regarding Africa, and what she was giving up career wise to go.

Also, it's pretty cool that we get two episodes in a row where at least one of the girls is mentioned...and we get Arizona chasing after Callie, which should be all kinds of cute.

I totally agree, I would make no sense whatsoever that Callie is pregnant since they are leading to Callie/AZ AND Mark/Lexie reconciliation. A baby thrown in the middle will be 1) a huge middle finger to all three fan bases (including Mallie fans as who would want some child thrown in there when there is not going to be a Callie/Mark reunion) and 2) absolutely way too ridiculous for both couples to deal with, especially for AZ and Lexie who have both had huge issues with their respective partners over Mark/Sloan Spawn.

Big news is definitely Callie's research related.

The way the synospsis is written, they make it sound like Callie is thrilled by the news. If it were Sloan Spawn 2.0, they would have worded it in a much different way (like Callie has to deal with breaking the news or yadda yadda...)

Callie's BIG question at the start of the season was just the moving in thing so her BIG news could very well be that she's got her apartment back lol.

Yeah, Bailey for her fistula thing and Teddy for...uh...*shrug* I really think Callie's news is work related. Maybe I'm in denial, but I refuse to believe the pregnancy thing until it's confirmed. The Harper Avery is probably too big for where she's at in her career right now, but some kind of recognition for her work (either the cartilage or the minimally invasive hip replacement).

I hope the promo monkeys are just messing with us now. A synopsis like this definitely could be interpreted to be positive or negatively ,and with the way things are with them and the C/M hookup ,I can't help but expect the worst at this point. Shonda ,please don't go there.
