Community Event: Out of Africa!

Half of our favourite couple is currently in Malawi, Africa, and the other half is back in Seattle. It's a conundrum, sure, but it's absolutely fixable. They've come from uncertainties about newborns and arguments about brothers and ex-husbands, to "I can't live without you" and saving little kids together with a gunman on the loose. Shonda says MFEO, and we believe it!

So during the few weeks when Arizona is "Out of Africa", we want to go there too! This is an art/fanfiction prompt event for the whole 'Africa' storyline. Artists: want to icon the airport scene? Or create a music video showcasing the whole storyline? So long as you use caps/scenes in which the move to Africa is being discussed, anything goes. Writers: write us out of this! How are we going to get our favourite paeds doctor back to Seattle, or are we going to send our ortho rockstar to Africa instead?

All submissions are due by Sunday 21st November at 11.59 EST, after which voting will be held for each category. Fanfictions, icons, wallpapers, music videos and fanmixes are all welcome! If you want to submit something that doesn't exactly fit into a category, comment here and let us know.

Event Rules

You must put "Out of Africa Event" in the subject line, and tag the entry as comm: contest (as well as the tags you'd usually use for your entry)

If you're super-speedy and have already created art/fanfic, then you may edit the subject title and tags for your post and still enter the contest

Only one entry will be accepted per community member. If you're writing a multi-chaptered fic, please choose one chapter to submit

PLEASE NOTE that not everyone has seen spoilers or promo stills for the next few episodes. If you feel you can keep spoilers out of your fic or art, we (and your spoiler-free fellow members) would certainly appreciate it!
