Callie slowly opened her eyes, but then shut them again quickly as the morning sun shone through a gap in the curtains and temporarily blinded her.
"Morning sleepy head." Came a familiar voice.
Callie slowly opened her eyes again, shielding them with her hand. Arizona was laying on her stomach next to her, propping herself up on her elbows. "Were you watching me sleep?" Callie groaned as she kissed Arizona's shoulder and snuggled up close.
"I like watching you sleep, you're so peaceful and beautiful." Arizona smiled as she kissed Callie's head.
Callie closed her eyes again, she was tired and needed sleep, but part of her didn't want to sleep as reality was far better than her dreams could ever be. She smiled to herself.
"What are you smiling at?"
"I was just remembering last night, and how amazing it was." Callie said as she looked up at Arizona.
"Yeah, we should probably clean up the room a little bit though." Arizona replied as she rolled over and looked at the carnage around them. Roses petals and clothes were everywhere, chairs and tables were upturned and even the bed they were laying in was out of place and now sat wonky in the room.
"Why is there glass over there?" Callie asked, as she too also glanced around the room.
"You threw the wine bottle?"
"Oh yeah," Callie said laying back down. "Let the maid clean it, they get paid."
"Calliope Torres you are so lazy."
"You wore me out!" Callie yelled, though her voice was muffled under the covers.
Arizona smiled and wrapped her arms around her. "I didn't hear you complain last night." She said mischeviously.
"I'm not complaining, it was good, and if I had the energy I'd make you do it again." Callie mumbled again.
"You'd make me do it again?"
"Yes."
"And what if I didn't want to?"
Callie opened her eyes and gave Arizona a 'you-wouldn't-be-able-to-resist-me' look. Arizona smiled and planted a soft kiss on Callie's lips, before sinking down into the bed. A comfortable silence fell over them as they laid there in each other's warm embrace, exchanging little, soft kisses every now and again, before Arizona spoke again.
"How's it going with your parents?" She said quietly.
Callie exhailed deeply. "They won't really speak to me, oh and they're throwing a formal ball at the end of the month, and they're making me go with this guy called Leonardo or something. I think they're trying to turn me straight."
Arizona gasped. "Oh my God a ball?! I love balls!" Callie looked at her, as Arizona realised what she had just said. "No wait, that didn't come out right," but it was too late, Callie began to laugh. "Callie, I didn't mean that! God you just turn everything dirty don't you?" Arizona said as she turned away and scooted towards the other end of the bed.
"Hey, you said it, not me." Callie moved up behind Arizona, and wrapped her arms around her stomach, planting kisses along her shoulder and up her neck. "I'm sorry," she whispered sweetly in her ear.
Arizona sighed before rolling over again so that they were facing. "I forgive you." She said before kissing the end of Callie's nose.
"I knew what you meant," Callie whispered. "And it would be really great to see you all dressed up in a nice dress, and to just dance with you all night long."
"That would be amazing. It's a shame your parents would kill me if they saw me though."
"Well they might not..." Callie said, thinking. "It's a masquerade ball, they probably wouldn't even recognise you underneath a mask."
"Callie, I can't-"
"Why not?"
"Your parents will kill me!"
"One dance." Callie begged. "Just one dance."
"Callie..." Arizona paused. "You need to sort things out with your parents. Me being there will make things worse."
Callie nodded, and looked down at the covers, but Arizona lifted her head back up and kissed her sweetly on the lips. "I owe you one dance, ok?"

After tearing herself away from Arizona, Callie headed back to her parents house. She didn't want to leave, she could have quite easily spent all day in bed with Arizona, but her parents would be worried, and Arizona had to get back to work.
As she pulled up outside the house, Callie hoped that either her parents weren't in, or they just hadn't noticed that she had been out all night. She felt 16 again, sneaking around behind their backs.
"CALLIOPE TORRES!" Her father yelled as she opened the door and tried to creep in.
'Shit' Callie thought. 'Maybe I'm not a ninja after all.'
Her father stormed in from the kitchen. "Where have you been?!"
Callie was in trouble now. Part of her wanted to say 'Yeah, I've been fucking a really hot girl all night long, what are you gong to do about it?' However she was pretty sure that if she did say that it would result in an early death. "I... Erm..." She began.
"Well?"
"Erm... Well you see.... The thing is..."
"I'm sorry Mr. Torres, but she was with me all night. I took her out, and we got carried away, and before we knew it it was morning. I'm so sorry."
Callie spun around to find out who had just saved her ass, and was shocked to find Leonardo had just walked in through the door.
"Leonardo?" Carlos said, he too was also shocked, but at the same time happy that his daughter had been out all night with a guy.
"Yeah, I'm really sorry." He said again, as he moved closer, placed an arm around Callie's waist and kissed her on the cheek. "Callie, darling, wanna go watch a movie or something?" He said softly.
Callie didn't quite know how to react, did he just call her darling? What the hell was going on? But before she could say anything, Leonardo was dragging her upstairs to her room. Once inside he closed the door.
"What the hell?!" Callie said as she paced around her room.
"Ok Callie, don't freak out." Leo began. "I'm friends with your sister, she asked me to help you convince your parents that your straight."
"What?"
"Don't worry, I don't like you in that way or anything, and I'm not going to try anything. I have a boyfriend."
"WHAT?!"
Leo laughed as Callie tried to digest all the information he was throwing at her. "Callie, I'm gay." He said simply. "I can just pretend to be your boyfriend, for your parents."
Callie laughed and made another mental note to thank her amazing sister. I mean asking a gay guy to pretend to be the straight boyfriend of a lesbian, who is trying to convince her parents that she is straight. Pure genius.
