Scary that you managed to update right before going to sleep (even with delay still on a Sunday (11.45PM), good job!). It's on my iPod right now so I will listen to it in bed and comment tomorrow morning (or evening) on this weeks fancast question and debacles. :)
i love what you guys said about how callie decided this method wasnt going to work for her. you could see in the 6x23 her crying and then she was furious at arizona. and i love that you said she felt jerked around. i would try and be mad too if my ex that i was trying to get over gave me an earth shattering kiss. but arizona couldnt help it. this episode was so sad. epic episode. epic kiss.
I really hated this episode of Grey's, the only ten minutes that kept my attention was the first and last Callie / arizona moments the rest made me dislike Owen more than I already did. The elevator scene suprised me, I didn't even expect another moment between them in that episode... I really think that Arizona was trying to not do anything, but just lost control. It was a nice parrallel to their original elevator scene where Alex had made her realize she was wrong and he did the same in this episode too... I half expected her to say 'sometimes I call it wrong'. Great podcast, shame the actual greys episode sucked.
I'm just not going to lie here. Strangely, since the episode where Sloan came back, Arizona had been annoying me a lot. She just seems like the type to want to fix things and people, but she just seemed to have given up. She fought with Callie, almost ending their relationship to doing so, and then being all whatever in this episode. I felt it was all out of character from what we normally see. But, I guess it is possible for this to be another side of her personality
( ... )
That is a big thing I always notice about her, the control thing.
You might be on to something here. It's likely that we could find out in season 7!
Of course Callie is the type that watches sappy movies! I think she left the cocktail party, went home, put PJ's on and curled up on her couch with popcorn, tissues and "Sleepless in Seattle" on her TV.
Well, there was that one episode where George came over with a bucket of chicken and a movie (tres romantique!) but yeah it was a zombie movie so maybe Callie is more of the sci-fi type.
I believe she said 'I'll give you both a place to crash!' didn't say she'd be there to keep you company. :P Haha. I on the other hand, am living in a five bedroom house by myself while my parents are off gallivanting around the world... so I have 'plenty' of space for you to 'crash' And would welcome the company... my shadow doesn't talk back. :( LOL!
