I don't think that either one of the girls seem gay. If it's politically correct to say so. Great podcast and you made me smile since I live in Sweden. I don't know why people are crazy for this country since I don't feel that it's so fun to live here :).
This is gonna sound weird, but early Callie pinged my gaydar waaaaay more than Callie now pings my gaydar. Except for the scene with the leather AND the T-Bird. That was the gayest Callie ever possibly.
Totally agree. Callie pinged for me very, very early. I can't put my finger on it, but it was something about how she carried herself (the sleeves, the hands in pockets, her swagger), her aggressiveness... the whole "aura" of her really pinged for me. So much so that I was a bit surprised that she had never been with a woman before Erica.
Honestly, I don't think Callie or Arizona come off gay at all. I guess it is really difficult to establish though because there are just so many stereotypes.
I guess the breakup didn't bother me too much. It didn't seem stupid like others on the show. They clearly loved each other, but didn't know how to get over their hurdle at the moment. I still cringe about the Meredith and Derek breakup from season 3 when they were refusing to be the one to break it off. That was weird.
Gay people come in all shapes and sizes-and looks for that matter :P. Now,I've thought that Callie was gay since day one -her character traits and whole body language screamed gay at me , plus ortho is a such a gay specialty-most residents who match at this specialty are either ex-jocks or adrenaline junkies who are pretty tough .
I know, i was referring to previous posters who couldn't see either Callie or Arizona as gay women :P. Callie made my gaydar ping like a Geiger counter placed inside a nuclear reactor :P

I'd also add to that the leather.
