Oh, I love this fic! It's a great character study for Jenny. I think that she might have had that in mind the whole time. Find a way to avenge her father.

I love the end with Gibbs being here for her.

I’m glad you enjoyed the story! The motives behind Jenny’s actions were only ever hinted at in canon; this is my interpretation of what was going on in her head. It’s nice to know I’m not alone with that. ;)
Of course Gibbs had to be there in the end! He may not have liked what Jenny was doing, but he nevertheless had her back the whole time. Perhaps more importantly, he knows what she’s going through since he’s been there himself, and so he’s there to tell her what she needs to hear.
