there is going to be at least one rain scene in Kurosagi: The Movie, because Yamapi wrote about it in his jweb. He did not provide details about whether Maki was also in the rain with him, and if there was KISSING OR HUGGING OR I DON'T KNOW, SOME KIND OF EMOTIONAL VALIDATION.

But he did say it was 'difficult.'

I generally love the HK eps without subs, and then love them even more with subs (and actual understanding!), but yeah, the last few eps of the series...it all gelled properly as a dorama.

I thought it was a nice mix up - Maki as pretty boy in her drama, and then fanservicing it up as the Bride.

Honestly, with all the projects he's been in with JE boys and personal friendships, and of course, the As You Like it (and apparently the actor who played Oscar was also in that, if not the same production), it only seemed karmically fair that he put on a dress.

Nari was working that bridal gown though, but Shun was an unexpectedly very striking, pretty woman.

I'm thinking I'd even spend the grandiose amount of money it would take to own the japanese dvd boxset for hana kimi, because.....mmm, delicious legality.

I have seen those specials, and those juniors outfits with the pink and the feathered trim? This is just a cakewalk for Toma!
