Even though she is far away enjoying herself (as she should be), and there has been no contact between us, I would still like to state for the record, that this? and the upcoming future posts, are all kitsune714's fault. ALL OF IT

thank you very much!calledinvainJune 23 2007, 04:42:44 UTC
it always makes me happy when you read my stuff. I had just watched Tiger and Dragon before I started writing this, and I was just like...oooo, storytelling itself as a device.....

Oooh! I totally loved Tiger & Dragon ;)
This is a really clever & sweet story. I like it muchly! I usually read all the fic you post... and I always read Kurosagi fic for some reason, even though I wasn't that into the drama. But the OTP is appealing, still.
Well, the longer story that this is an interlude of, No Good Deed is only going to be a standalone, because I couldn't deal with a series with nothing but unrelenting angst, because wow, the television show did that quite nicely, but I'm hoping to post the fourth future of 5 futures within 2 weeks, and have the fifth future all wrapped up by the time Hana Kimi starts airing.
There will be one soon enough!snowfireJune 20 2007, 18:55:01 UTC
I KNOW. I demand the movie, like, now. With lots of pretty and publicity shots and magazine scans of them looking angst and gorgeous and KISSING. WHY IS THERE NO KISSING?
eeeee! i await!calledinvainJune 20 2007, 19:03:00 UTC
Well, at least for us poor non Japanese fans, there'll be a website and there will be a trailer eventually and then we can all explode from the squee, and then WILD SPECULATION!
I KNOW. IT BOGGLES THE MIND. UNLESS THEY WORRY WE WOULD ALL HAVE SIMULTANEOUS NOSEBLEEDS/THE CELLULOID WOULD BURN AFTER THEIR UST IS CONSUMMATED. NOT EVEN A REAL HUG. WTF IS THAT?
you know, i still have not watched kurosagi even though the dvds are just sitting there staring at me...
but i can't seem to get enough of kurosagi fics, i absolutely love them! i think it's because by reading a well-written fic and not watching it, i don't have to see potentially bad acting or bad whatever and be disappointed. reading the fics kinda keeps me in limbo just so that i can indulge in my fantasies about how tortured the 2 are, or the happily ever after i hope they have...sick?
lol, you know the fanfics need to have some basis in the show...calledinvainJune 20 2007, 19:11:03 UTC
But I understand your dilemma. The show is relentlessly taunting about thick the UST between Kurosaki and Tsurara is, and ff is an outlet for all the stuff the show doesn't give us. But it's quite an enjoyable show to watch, the acting is pretty good all around, though the swindling is kind of easy to see through after a few eps/some verging on repetitive. But the emotional punch the show has...oh, that's addictive

LOL...
I agree with you completely!!! I can't believe how obsessed I am about reading Kurosagi fics and it definitely comes from not knowing how I would like the relationship to resolve itself. My cynical self in reality says that the relationship will never work. My repressed, locked up with key thrown away romantic little girl so wishes that there was a happy ending...but the masochistic being inside me who so loved In The Mood for Love, almost needs for there to be never-ending resolution of the pain... like my shameful need for soujirou and Yuuki in HYD to never find anyone else but pine away in pain...
Shameful, i know... but at least I've seen HYD! and to think, I've never watched a single episode of Kurosagi!!! the more fics i read, the less i want to watch!
Hey! I stumbled over here from Kitsune714 and uhh... WOW. I really like your story. I love your style, and just how well you characterized Kurosaki and Tsurara, because it's just so perfect. Yeah. *flails*
