Well, there goes my respect for Harrison Ford. And yet another movie I won't be seeing.

I hate Hollywood's assumptions about race, gender, disabilty and class. No matter what the original material, they turn themselves inside out to make movies about middle class athletic white men. So tired of it.

Of all the other RaceFail stories I've heard in the past year, this newest one (while still frustrating) is probably the most amusing... Indiana Jones = Taiwanese? Hah.

It does bug me that there aren't more Asians in American movies and television. There are so many good Asian actors (and Asian actors who speak English better than many Caucasian Americans) out there, so it wouldn't be too hard to find someone to fit the role being filled.
