Just finished watching the first episode of You're Beautiful/ 미남이시네요 and while it is pleasantly predictable, it hasn't ventured down the path of You're Kidding Me, I may be Shojo-tolerant, but I'm not willfully STUPID - shojo fatigue yet. Yet. Early days still, but I'm willing to watch the next episode.

on things that seem too good to be true and cracky - because goodness knows, no one should have suffered through the rest of Koishite Akuma (I know, it starred one of your babies, emphasis on FETUS, ;) but....that didn't go to a good place for me.) I'll let you know after the third episode, if I can make it through the second. This was a good warm up for the series though - no one is annoying me outright yet, and yes, Bambi is adorable.

I'll give this series a try but I have to say now that I'm not loving the lead singer's 80's gothic look with unattractive hair flap. Just doesn't do anything for me.

OTOH, the other two boybanders have a pretty, idol look. Is it bad I'm hoping one of them is the OTP?

He's usually much more attractive than that

But like I said, unfortunate hair part. I quite like Bambi best myself, because he's so sunny and clearly enjoys being famous and adored, and sometimes, that's all you want in an idol.

It looks like in this show, all three of them will have Feelings for her, but the main OTP, if I had a guess, would be Nun/Smirky Guyliner. So perhaps, the OTP gods are not in your favor.

I'm looking forward to the second episode too. As jdramas seem to be now generating sequels to shows I didn't watch/didn't like, it looks like I'll be taking a break from the new season and watching older shows, and this may be the only current drama I watch. Kdrama has to work hard to get me to watch *all* of it - I'll watch a few episodes and then get disinterested (or frustrated - mostly this) and go back to my beloved jdrama.

Dude, it's a staple - if there is a crossdressing girl, she has to have a scene where she tapes herself up, and cuts her hair by herself too.

Not gonna bother watch this since in every k-drama I've watched lately the girl never ends up with who I want her to be with. (woe is me)
