to my dream drama with maki and meisa as ninja assassins, wolfie. I swear to god. I know you're all in B&W's grill, but Atadan, oh my god, my heart.

My ideal is vampire gangters, like Criminal fused with Crows Zero and a little Asano Taeko sprinkled in.

they fight crime with fangs and forks? calledinvain June 10 2009, 22:32:21 UTC
or they cause crime. Or oh, they're villainous in high diva style villainy, and one of them is turned to the light (metaphorically speaking, unless we're talking about one of those lame vampires that is impervious to everything except hair gel, what have you.) or one of them sired the other and now after spending decades together, one falls in love with a police detective?

goddamn you, wolfie.

*cries*

Ta! I've just posted my own, not realizing you've done it too. Really ought to read flist before posting. But anyway.

I almost have no clue of anyone out of M-chan, aside from Nana and Hiro and Osamu. Because I think I may have bleached my mind after sitting through an episode or two. As I did with Hachi One-Diver. Junpei is lucky he's cute because that show would have put me off for a GOOD LONG WHILE had I not known him from other places.

i'd love to see a board meeting at Fuji Terebi calledinvain June 10 2009, 22:22:16 UTC
or any of the big studios, really.

The writers, producers, directors, brainstorming.

"You know what would be a great idea for a drama?"

"What?"

"Shogi. With show downs and terrible cgi effects!"

"MY GOD THAT'S EXCELLENT, I'LL BRING THE TATAMI MAT FULL OF CASH ROUND TOMORROW. Have budget schedule a meeting."

As for Mei-chan, I skimmed through a few episodes and became thoroughly offended at Fuji trying to push a sub par Hana Kimi imitation at me, because that's how it came off. I ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES, FUJI.

wow thanks for the info!

looks like everyone from AtaDan is getting lined up for new dramas fast.

this is Yabu Kota's acting debut right?

definitely on my summer drama list (which has so few right now that i'm actually looking forward to watching).

i skimmed through Mei-chan no Shitsuji. After the first two episodes, I found it kind of pointless. Plus that horrible white wig on Mukai kind of killed it a bit for me. Also a lot of the actors/actresses from HanaKimi couldn't get me to finish it.
